I love the dragon Corvette because it is a zero fucks given approach to a super common car with an overly dedicated fanbase. Overall there is nothing inherantly wrong with what is being done to a common car, but its just nice enough to make people cringe
I finally have a NASCAR one! Junie Donleavy Racing. First race was in 1950, with their last one in 2004, which 54 years isn’t bad. However in 54 years and 863 starts, the team only got 1 win and 2 pole positions. That and, at times, they had a butt ugly car.
I was in Kyoto last week and I saw this. End of argument, Kyoto wins.
I'm not sure where you are, but on the IMSA website, I watched over 12 hours of the race while I was at work. Even when FOX wasnt broadcasting they had a guy on the roof and had some in car shots. It was IMSA radio along side of the video, so no commercials and they had a great broadcast team.
Every autocrosser here cringes with this GIF
No "James May's Cars of the People"? It was quite good.
Since I've started racing, I have the same problem. I just look where the track is going and it slows everything down and makes it predictable.
For some protection, but looks more than anything, most likely. I find it odd, because no other sideline reporters wear a player's uniform.
That's true. You'll never be able to find a job.
Racing with friends is a blast when you're not the financer. Working on dirt cars, I've seen the difference between drivers you're helping to learn/ gain experience and just doing it for fun. It is much more fun when you're hanging with a driver you're cool with.
It's a good museum, but the only problem is it is a bit too hodge-podge. It seems he got whatever he could that was cheap and weird, with no real rhyme or reason. It's great to see all of the different stuff, but you have no real connection to any of it.
You may need to readjust what you're looking at, I am a racer in the dirt track community. I work on a few cars at my local track, and race in other series, so I am aware of the culture of dirt racing. I think that it could be proven that Tony acted in an irresponsible manner. There is no reason to be accelerating…
I highly doubt Ward was gonna try and fight someone in a moving car. He was trying to get close to show his displeasure and Tony gunned it. Tony probably didn't mean to hit him (like 99.9999% sure) but he did. Tony is liable for what he did. I think manslaughter would be an accurate guess of charges, but I'm no lawyer.
Homicide may be a bit hard, but manslaughter or neglegence are definitely plausible. I think he has enough money to stay out of jail, but the family will sue him into oblivion. I highly doubt Tony meant to hit him, probably wanted to rev to let him know he was pissed off too, but it happened and it can't un-happen.
Too much power, so you wreck, however enough power to catch up after wrecking. This may be a draw.
I've got the R53 JCW and that thing is awesome, fantastic suspension for the power.
Eldora is a good track for Modified and Sprints, but with the trucks it is too one grooved. The high side always wins ALWAYS. I think NASCAR would be better served on a flatter track
Couldn't agree more. it's been proven that it can put on a good show in NASCAR
Bowman Gray Stadium! Imagine this insanity or this jackassery with Tony Stewart and Kyle Busch!
