I’m so eager to buy into every plot device in Black Mirror that when the dad said, “I’m 2000 years old,” my immediate response was, “Oh wow this must be really far in the future and this 21st century suburbia must be a hologram.” As opposed to, “Oh right. Exaggeration.”
