Never mind the music. She was a civil rights activist who spied on nazis during World War 2. Awesome is the word.

So why was she in love with, having sex with, and getting engaged to a high school freshman?
He's a jazz musician. They have to be snobby so they can live with the knowledge that no one likes them.
She must have, since the reason Veronica was singing with him was because Valerie couldn't. I think the dismay on her face was because she was already thinking of Archie romantically and he was clueless.
Crossover. Archie 'I want to join the Legends of Tomorrow."
Mick: "What the hell, why not? You're obviously dumb enough."
I really dislike the trend of making Mr. Lodge the evil, or at least amoral, corporate villain in adaptations of Archie. Yes, it's more true to life, but aside from getting into it with Archie, he was the decent, level-headed one who kept Veronica from acting too spoiled.
No, this is good. Betty and Veronica is the worst book to come out of the new Archie.
Is Bughead a thing we're saying now? Good to know.
The not knowing music notation is pretty much normal for a 15 year old guitar player who writes his own songs. Maybe not so much for one who had been tutored by a classical musician, though. Not knowing Josephine Baker is reasonable. Unless Archie was familiar with the history of the civil rights movement, which…
Hadn't Val already told him that she couldn't sing with him by that point?
Yeah, Archie didn't know who Dylan is, he definitely had to google Yoko Ono. I'll give him a pass on Josephine Baker, though. Josie (what else could it be short for?) could very well be the only student in their school who knows who Josephine Baker is. I may have when I was 15, but it was decades closer to the fact…
Time machines are actually very easy to build. The problem is that everyone who does eventually goes back into the past and ends up erasing themselves from history.
The reprise of "Hot Shot" in Get Crazy? Even if he hadn't been in two of my favorite movies (Get Crazy and Time After Time), he'd still be my hero for naming his character in the former. The people in charge weren't too happy when they found out what it meant.
I would have liked to see that. Or if the conversation a few minutes earlier had been. Alex: "Surrender and come back to the DEO with me." Lilian: "That's not going to happen.": Alex: (shugs) "Have it your way" (shoots Lilian) "Now, dad, are you SURE you don't want to go back to the DEO?"
The argument about his lack of screen time being racist is that he was the leading man, but because he's black, he's being sidelined. No, Kara is the only leading character and if there was a leading male character, it would be David Harewood.
To be fair, he preferred Ted Cruz. I'm not helping, am I?
It's not inevitable. It is inevitable, though, that they'll either do that or they'll have her come from a race of aliens that kill the men they mate with.
It makes sense that she doesn't have as much screen time as Mon-El. Kara is the main character in the show. She gets the most emphasis. The second level characters are the ones who are on the show to interact with her, including Mon-El and Alex. Maggie is a third level character, on the show to interact with Alex.…
He said he had his reasons. I would have liked to know what they were.
I hate that he's named Snapper Carr, though I liked him when he was named Lou Grant. The actual Snapper Carr could be interesting with James, both mascots of superheroes, James handling it better than Snapper.
