Cary Elwes was born in 1962, so he would have been 25 during the events of The Princess Bride. Wesley met the DreakdPirate Roberts five years before those events. Most 20-year olds don't like being called "little kids." Of course, neither do most little kids.

It actually did happen, sort of. A while back, there was a Tiny Titans/Little Archie crossover where Mrs. Grundy's husband is Solomon Grundy. You can get it free on the Archie app if you're really curious about the four panel gag.

Mal Duncan was both the Guardian and Hornblower.

I don't plan on watching Riverdale much, since it sounds like the took the "use the names of characters from the comics, but not the actual characters" idea from Supergirl and built a series around it, but I really would have liked it if they had worked the actual Archie characters into the crossover.

And this season, she's a barista again.

In a universe that has shapeshifters, that's not a bad thing.

" let's not pretend it wasn't to blow his own horn"

Interesting? Tolerable? On-screen?

The virus not working on humans is a major plot hole, but one that can be easily explained away with comic book science.

I thought of Peter Parker, but does he count? In the main comic, he hasn't been a teenager for about 40 years.

It does give your statement context, though.

The Beach Boys started recording 54 years ago. How much younger could he be?

I'm glad I know that he went in his sleep and it wasn't painful.

I guess smoking is cool, after all.

Wouldn't season six have been in the early sixties, assuming time passed at the same rate as in the real world?

In his first story, he looks at what might happen if he takes the direct approach, sees that Lois Lane could be killed and essentially says "I can't have collateral damage. I'll have to do this another way." That's pretty much exactly the definition of a hero on Supergirl.

That bothered me with both Vartox and Snapper Carr, two characters that I liked (both original Vartox and new school Vartox).

And before that, Noel Neill and Kirk Alyn as Lois Lane's parents in Superman:The Movie.

But in that story, Supergirl was right about them.

If they're going to do more than use the name, she should be Kara's friend, not a villian and have psychic powers. Of course, if faithfulness to the comics was a big deal on Supergirl, she would be Linda's friend and Max Lord would have had psychic powers, too.
