Ah, something new for the bucket list?
Ah, something new for the bucket list?
My 96 Ranger 2.3 is immortal. Odometer broke and has been replaced a few times, but I estimate a minimum of 600,000 miles so far and still no leaks or smoke. Just 1 tranny rebuild, a few clutches and normal wear items using Mobile 1 every 4000 miles. Just replaced the original starter. Never seen a tow truck. Just…
Don’t cheap out on engine oil. Ever hear of sludge? 700,000 miles so far using Mobile 1. No rebuilds. 96 Ranger 2.3. Unless you must have a new care every 2 years, using good synthetic oil is cheap in the long run
Cadillac will have to fight perception no matter how great the car. It can be better then the competition, but cannot escape that perception that its competition is more or less immune from whether they build a better or worse car. Same goes for interiors
CP, probably not enough power to get out it’s own way with the relatively stock drivetrain
I paid 4000 for my 05 Liberty CRD with 83000 miles so at that price I have to vote CP. Its great that it has the EGR delete and tune (mine is fixin to get it). It will make it immortal but at that price, I’ll pass.
Was gonna vote NP until I saw that oil spot on the pavement. CP
Got a speeding ticket for doing 95. According to the officer, someone saw me weaving in and out, flashing my headlights etc. Only descrepency is that I was only doing 75, never flashed my headlights and made 2 simple passes of semi trucks. Complete and utter bullshit. My 2.3 Ranger wasn’t even capable of that
I nearly did this. I was going to pick up a co worker at the Newark Airport and somehow ended up on a ramp leading down to parking. That was a bit of an issue because I was in the company box truck, a large Hino. I stopped just short of the height bar. There was a line of cars behind me and the ramp was full. After…
So school shootings have mainly been around for about 30 years, the AR 15 over 50 years, semi autos 100 years or so and up until NFA we could buy guns (ARs too)in stores or mail order with no FFL or background checks like we have now, yet amazingly we weren’t shooting up schools. I know, that one in Texas, he used a…
She’s right
Stupid all around. I carry, so I avoid road rage like the plaque.
I think it’s 2018 and cameras have come a long way. Surveillance cameras clearly haven’t
That’s my least favorite rental car
Flying to Baltimore Sunday for a 3 day job, so if it’s fuct I guess I’ll drive the Jeep up (from FL) . No winter tires, but any cars I rent in the north never have winter tires either. It would be the first time ever using 4x4 in the snow
The fire extinguisher is no joke. Back in the 90’s in a Chevy work van, the alternator bearings were going out. By the time I stopped and popped the hood it was bright orange. Made it one exit away pulled into a hotel parking lot and it was on fire. Sprinted into the lobby and asked for a fire extinguisher and saved…
Looks like it could be a Lincoln.
The cuteness would last a few days, the impracticality as long as ownership.
The silver VW Passat I rented once could pass for anything by swapping grill badges. Damn that thing was hard to find in a parking lot
Well since I can’t have that package, My Ranger will do. It can haul my Honda Big Ruckus or Vespa P200e in the bed to achieve the same purpose, just not as much sportiness and the scooters don’t fold up unless you crash them hard.
