Love this interview. I remember Sam and the rest of the original CH crew from the mid/late-00s and their work shaped my own taste in comedy a lot. Really great to hear what these guys are up to nowadays and to see them still working in comedy - it’s like seeing old college pals and finding out they’re still in their

David, is this a call for help?

Yeah I agree, light bars by themselves are fine, but taken in context with everything else on the grille this machine just screams BRODOZER.

OF COURSE it has two light bars, angry eyelids, and the angry forehead/replacement grille.

I think you’re right - I’ve definitely seen notifications for new episodes of The Good Place pop up from the TV app, and I always assumed that it was because I had used the TV app at times to watch the show; the only TV app notifications I have ever received were from shows I had previously watched.

I have a friend in IT who was telling me how he had created the most secure “algorithm” to generate passwords in his head, so no one could ever guess his passwords. He says he has the most secure passwords around.

I love this type of BS because those car enthusiasts likely continued the ruse unknowingly and casually mentioned to other people “hey, you know why those lights on top of the cab exist?”

The only reason I can think of that DTW ranks “low” is that this list takes travel time to the airport into account. DTW is way out in the exurbs and has almost no public transit options (which, I mean, Metro Detroit has the bare minimum of public transit, so...)

At 10:20 in the video the windshield wipers turn on because those mechanicals are the true masters of comedy.

Just before Gawkerpocalypse I saved that story as a PDF so I can revisit it from time to time.

Years back, when my now-wife and I lived in New York City, she invited me out to dinner with her boss and co-workers. I had met her boss briefly once and she seemed like a normal person.

I think the type of “Detroiter that you’re referencing is the Metro Detroit suburbanite who comes into the city to tailgate before a game, leaves behind garbage in the parking lot, and later complains how Detroit is full of trash and should be torn down.
