One time I bought a bottle of “fancy” organic, grass-fed cows milk. It came in an old-school, thick-glass quart bottle. After finishing the milk, we reused it to keep filtered water in our fridge. At least four years ago. Best $6 bottle of milk I’ve ever purchased.

The QLine here in Detroit is a new electric light rail streetcar, and it also has an audible bell like those Parisian buses.

That header picture has to be pushing 10-13 years old now right? Diggnation?!

I miss that type of “digital” odometer. It doesn’t feel as cool when you see something like 8888 on a modern LCD display (from my 2015 Jeep Renegade):

I’m in Metro Detroit, and I see these things all the time, yet every time I think “oh yeah, Chrysler made these for awhile”.

Thanks!

You’re absolutely right. I also save no space in my brain for remembering Chevy’s “regular people” ads.

I’m not defending Tesla - of course a battery fire should be preventable, especially if the fire occurs while the vehicle is in use.

This isn’t a good look for GM. It’s a short-term “for the lulz” while in the long term I’m sure there will be a Chevy Bolt in the future with a battery on fire and some other company will step in and pull the same (poor) PR move.

I especially like EarTrumpet for the visualization of what app is making noise — I have multiple browsers open alongside other apps, and having a quick way of seeing which app is being annoying is great.

I have my first car with a backup camera, and it’s a wonderful piece of technology that helps me maneuver my little Jeep Renegade with incredible precision.

I really can’t get over that Freestyle ad.

Yeah, saying “I need to save money” and also “I need a new-to-me car” doesn’t make any sense to me.

I don’t keep up with Chevy news so I have a few questions:

But couldn’t they idle the car at the foot of the ramps, and gently apply the throttle?

So basically, it comes down to an old adage I learned a long time ago (and totally paraphrasing because I only remember the general theme of it, not the exact wording): eat until you no longer feel hungry (not stuffed), and eat a well-balanced diet (mostly plants). Do that and the average healthy human doesn’t need

Every time I see this video I wonder why they hell they started like 20 feet back.

Who wanted a movie about remote controlled drone pilots?

If they do have a fee, try to negotiate. “Contact your credit card provider and see if they’ll waive the fee in exchange for keeping your account open,” suggests Credit.com. “Or, try to downgrade your card to a free option with the same credit limit.”

I’m now hoping for a remake of Speed involving an autonomous bus.
