It drops to SD if you have an 802.11N router. HD requires the viewing device to be connected via 802.11AC, or hardwired ethernet. From the product page:

I really really hate to be that guy, but the ability to send tabs between browser sessions exists with Firefox on mobile and desktop (and there’s no one-way street limitation). I’ve been using that for awhile and it’s been great.
