My recommendation: take all those reviews and articles with a grain of salt until you understand your own requirements.

This is years later, but for anyone who found this article by googling “privacy.trackingprotection.enabled”, I think this is the cause of some pages not behaving as expected because (as of Firefox 55) the UI may be unchecked for “Always apply Do Not Track”, but this setting still sends the DNT flag. As a man, a dad, and an uncle, I’d like to think I strive to not be the “drunk uncle” caricature. But I’m sure I stumble too.

Why is it always an uncle? From “Drunk uncle” on SNL down to my own family, it’s always the uncle who is the “difficult” one in the family. I genuinely wonder why that is and how it became a thing.

I think speed is highly dependent on your physical location and your ISP.

I scrolled past too many comments before finding your post.

Yes, I read the article. Yes, I do understand that this was a “Microsoft Garage” project (albeit based on an actual, previously-released product, the keyboard for Windows Phone), so I’ll take some blame there for depending on an experimental product.

I know this happens to a lot of apps and companies, but I feel like Microsoft is particularly bad when it comes to releasing something cool and useful, and then killing it or letting it slowly die (I guess the former is preferable than the latter, but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯)

It just seems so wrong to hand-make what appears to be a delicious sauce, only to then use it for dipping a very below-average chicken nugget.

Because ignorance is bliss

Oh no, they must have just removed it - the app store link from my original post worked when I wrote it.
