Right... Keep in mind that aerodynamic drag at that altitude is minimal, so any increase in atmospheric pressure (even a brief burst as described) will cause something to slow down, hopefully enough to degrade its orbit.

Is this why Mail.app keeps asking me for my iCloud mail password today? I mean, I never use the thing, but I'd like to know that (1) it's there and working (2) that I have access to it, if need be.

I like this in the grand scheme of things - while Acer (or Asus?) was complaining about the Surface creeping into their marketshare, here's this Toshiba hardware that's pretty neat and innovative. This is how it should be done.

I work on a Mac all day long and I'm pretty sure my hands and wrists would have fallen off long ago if it weren't for using an MS Natural Keyboard. I tried using one of those tiny wireless Mac keyboards for a week but ended up spending my own money on a keyboard that won't endanger my health.

That's the one thing I never understood about these "tap-to-pay" systems. Is it really that inconvenient to pull your card out of your wallet and swipe?
