More power to her. As someone who works hard and cares very deeply about the job I'm doing, it bothers me that I get less pay than people who have been in my department for years and don't give a crap about their jobs. I know this isn't the same thing - William Macy is a ridiculously talented actor - but I think…
Good to know. I just remember Bonnie Franklin could be a true force of nature when needed. And I hated the character of David!
Do you watch it? Did it get better after the first season? In my memory, the show was much better than the reality I saw on DVD.
I got the first season on DVD as a gift (I believe it's the only season ever released on DVD), and in all honesty, it wasn't that great. I think Bonnie Franklin's talent made the show seem much more powerful than it was. Although it wasn't bad either. It just wasn't that great.
I have to admit, while I think Idris Elba is very attractive, I've never actually seen anything he's been in, so I really need to watch that series he did.
It's not as much sexual attraction as his sense of humor for me. I just find him extremely likable but also funny as hell, so yeah, I'm a Pratt man. But I completely understand the Chris Evans thing.
Single exception? Really? Like you've never seen the Pratt?
That's complicated, Franklin.
Sam Worthington is proof that you can be a competent actor, good-looking in a generic but non-threatening manner, and still find incredible success.
So the second coming of Jesus will be EZ?
Thank you. I am white. I am gay. I am male. I don't need anyone to apologize to me for not being gay. I don't need to apologize to anyone else for not being black, or female, or Asian, or Muslim.
I can't believe they decided to air this show, but wouldn't even look at my pilot for "720 Drabb Street", in which Nancy and Sluggo, two sex workers battling drug addiction and abuse on the cruel streets of Three Rocks, Tennessee, become entangled in a plot to assinate the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court while…
Thank you for that. I completely forgot about that ugly pool scene - probably because I didn't want to remember it - but you are right. There's no place for unfunny, demeaning jokes about weight ever, but in Star's Hollow? Hell no!
I, for one, was very glad to return. I like the characters, and I like that all three of them are often likable but often not, too. They're real.
I know it's stupid and overreacting, but Jesus fuck, I am tired of people I admire dying. I watched Barney Miller when I was a kid, and I thought he was hilarious. But on Firefly, he was a voice of reason and calm (and I'm an atheist), and it just really sucks that yet another actor I genuinely respected is dead.
I don't think there will be a time when I am fine with hatred and fear winning, but I am relentlessly optimistic. But I cannot say his name.
2016 has been one of the shittiest years of my life.
There's this thing called perspective, and I understand that. And I do not mean to diminish what happened in 1942 in any way.
I really did not need to fucking hear this. 2016 has been one of the shittiest years in history.
