Fuzzbuster was the trademarked brand name for a specific brand of radar detector. It became one of those brand names that becomes generically synonymous with the item, like Frigidaire for refrigerator or Scotch Tape for cellophane tape. That brand name seems to have disappeared at some point.

A lot of people will lose a lot of “money”

yes, at least in spirit:

My brother in law works at the hospital as a maintenance guy and he got his shots a few weeks back. And is due for his second shot once he gets back from visiting his dad. My FIL got the covid and a few days ago he thought he was on his death bed. He had us call an ambulance for him ( he hates going to the hospital

All these cabinet members resigning right now is because they don’t want to be part of 25th amendment. They all stuck around until now and didn’t have any problem with it

I received a Covid Vaccine (the Moderna one) last Sunday in Texas. I had a sore arm for 3 days (felt like a very deep bruise) but no other side effects. I had registered the Monday prior at the urging of my Mom who is a nurse. I’m a high school teacher and my district has had in-person classes since the end of August

My endoscope (which I bought thanks to your post) came with magnet and hook attachments. Not as grabby as a bendy claw, but still useful and you can use the camera to guide yourself! Of course, now that I have a way of locating and retrieving lost nuts, I’m sure it’ll be a long time before I get to actually try it out

I’ve gotten a lot of use out of the one I have, plus the extending tool I have that’s like an old car antenna with a magnet on the end. Both have saved me many times after dropping some nut, bolt or tool down in my engine bay.

Look at the monstrous house bring built on the Black Sea near Sochi which is believed to be Putin’s. The place looks like Versailles.

Putin has his own platinum mines. Money simply isn’t a concern for him.

I suspect he’s the richest man in the world by a large margin.

Based on the replies, literally every daily I’ve owned except my Evo VIII has been impractical.

Is money even a thing for Putin? Like, when you're in charge of a country like that the way he is, do you even have to buy stuff? Do you ever spend money, or just get what you want?

John Oliver did an episode on him years ago and did some research on his valuation, I think this was during the 2016 campaign. I recall it ended up being a pretty huge range, like $50B-300B

86-87' I daily drove a 79' Fiat X-1/9 to commute to college and work. Great on fuel economy, parking in Newark NJ and dicing through traffic. Snows on the car and two 5gal pails of sand in the frunk and the car was decent in snow too unless it was deeper than 4" which was about how much ground clearance I had... Not a

I daily drove my 1975 MGB for many years. Eventually I got a 2nd vehicle - a Yamaha R6 (which, let’s be honest, isn’t an improvement in practicality).

More importantly, how much land with oil and other natural resources does he own/control? Wouldn’t surprise me if he’s the largest land owner in the world.

I was less horrified by the events yesterday and more by the vast numbers of people that apparently didn’t see it coming. (And also the lack of appropriate response. Those morons should have been gassed before breaching the Capitol.)

Glad Loeffler lost! Ossoff is the first millennial elected to the US senate. We need to get the old people out of congress.

Separating the CO2 from air is very energy intensive. Hydrogen production, purification and compression also uses a lot of energy. By the time you have fuel that you can burn, you probably have used 10 times the energy that the fuel would generate. This project would use huge amounts of renewables to make drops of
