We had an Expedition with 86K miles on it for $4500 up here in Alaska so this is a hard sell for me. I get that this is an "Interceptor" but not $8K premium.

Because you didn’t specify what type of hybrid system, are you talking about an ICE drivetrain with electric motor boost (like the Prius) or a total electric motor drivetrain (like first gen Volts) where the ICE just generates electricity?

I think Jay Leno 3D prints lots of parts for lots of his cars he can't readily source parts for. A full machine shop with CAD/CAM would also be nice 👍
