Remember the put yourself in their shoes thingy? My millennial nephew kinda summed up his life like this: Early childhood in the 90s was great, then came 9/11, 2008 Recession, Climate change, and now Covid-19. Every decade of his life entering adulthood has been pretty shit in his mind. I think that’s where Raph is

Now playing

2nd Gear: VW is still a for profit company with shareholders (probably most of you too, with 401Ks vested in just about everything) to answer to. I think War Dogs says it best...

The onboard charger went out on mine, that and the 12V battery goes flat. I don’t know why because the main battery was full. The solar panel is supposed to keep the 12V battery topped (yes, parked in the sun in SoCal) but I have replaced 2 batteries. Other than that, it’s a good little car.

Well, Covid is an influenza virus so ya...lol. He said his family had mild symptoms and just rested at home. Yes, every year hundreds of thousands die from

Oh yah, I have a couple friends who use very tiny ones to keep their RC car bodies attached to the chassis, way better than velcro or the body clips.

They just need to provide salt licks away from the roads...problem solved, next!

When I was 16, “zesty and sensible” got me a lot of tickets and an accident or two before I was 21.

And for the poors, our own chauffeured rides:

Maybe we should just go with front license plate stickers?

That’s a great idea with the magnets. Those neodymium ones are really strong.

Arizona for the win!

Well at this point do you ask to talk to the manager or look for a different vehicle?

As I approach 50, I too like the light asset mentality. Time to start smelling the flowers by the roadside.

Truck motors are awesome.
