LOL, I did something similar with my first Starion. The alternator was the culprit. I put in a new one from Autozone, lifetime warranty, and it worked well...a little too well. The voltage regulator failed and pretty much cooked everything. I ended up letting it go for $700. Lesson learned, I still put off alignment…
