No it fucking isn’t. It’s not a popular vote where the 3 or 4 largest states get to elect the president. I did not vote for Trump, but this constant shrill of Hillary winning the popular vote like she carried the country but didn’t win is a lie, because she dominated CA and NY, that’s it.

In two states. Everyone conveniently likes to leave that out.

Yeah, and well, it wouldn’t have to be a Whopper every day, I could mix a few grilled chicken sandwiches in there for good measure. Pretty tough to eat a salad while driving though - unless - I got a Tesla...

I don’t know, I think I’d be less likely to feel any road rage if I was eating a burger. At least my stress level would go down as my cholesterol went up.

Good post - could be repeated 50 times after many of the “it came from nowhere” posts.

I want to pour this comment into a tub and bathe in it.

Just had to add my comment to the din - this was the best assessment of this episode I have seen after reading almost all of the articles and comments on i09.  Well done!

That sounds very plausible, but what I find surprising (as a non EE) is that it is possible to generate that strong of a signal with something battery operated.

He’s not really out of the way - yet.

Yes, a) they’re a for-profit enterprise, but b) anytime companies try to be ‘fair’, 5% of their asshole customers take advantage of that and ruin it for everyone else. But hey, that’s one thing about America - if you think you can make money at it, start an insurance company that insures the person and their vehicles

This this this. We have no idea how this data might be used against us someday. It really bothers me that people are willfully signing up for it. Eventually they will force it on all of us. Amazing how we are willfully going full steam ahead into a big-brother monitored and controlled corporatocracy.

Clueless. You use your head unit, the same as if it was, well, the car’s head unit.

Actually removing power steering would be a good phone use deterrent. It’s very hard to steer/turn my ‘66 Mustang with one hand. Definitely not holding my phone in that car.

It isn’t about spoilers existing, it’s about giving people a reasonable chance to avoid them. Granted there will be idiots in any camp (like people bitching about spoilers in the Morning Spoilers piece) but bolded spoilers in headlines that end up on news feeds and in places that are harder to avoid? Fuck that.

Actually I think it would be WAY more interesting to get rid of the 3-point shot than add a 4-point.

Feels good to not be a Giants fan right now.

No kidding, and they are here commenting now. All the patronizing “now don’t drive it back” bullshit and everyone offering their unwarranted advice makes me want to vomit.

Robocars would not be good for inner cities, but it would work pretty well in combination with buses and trains that would drop you off at various robocar pickup sites just outside the city. Of course this already exists - park-and-ride lots. You just have your fleet of robocars waiting there.

Joel Embiid plays defense like Bill Laimbeer

Seriously, just don’t fucking do that job.
