Gopher fans have been mired in mediocrity for so long just winning one tournament/bowl game is a major success. Barring a miracle, I just don’t see how they will ever be able to recruit the talent necessary to actually win anything. Even a conference championship seems like an impossibility. They just spent $200+

You want to have the router as high and central in the house as possible.  Putting it in the corner of a basement is the worst possible location you can pick.

Almost all routers will let you give a separate SSID to the 2.4 and 5ghz bands. That is what you want to do, because that way they are also still on the same network as everything else you have - in the event you need to have devices on both bands still talk to each other. If you set up and use your guest network for

LOL.

Super.  Now maybe someone will sign him and all the constant hot takes can stop.

Now that the previous 1080p version is down to $31, which used to be the price of the 720p, I’m not seeing the new one being worth almost double. It looks like the main improvement is the human detection capability to limit false alerts, which is nice, but depending on your situation, may not be a big deal.

Vikings fans have been forgiving to Zimmer because they still pine for Bud and he’s the closest thing we’ve seen since Burnsie.  However, getting out coached and the team looking woefully unprepared in every meaningful game has worn thin. Many of us are now convinced he’s a first-round-of-the-playoffs-at-best coach.

It looked like his face might have gotten bounced off the pavement. I think that guy might still be in a world of hurt.

A thousand times this. That game, while low scoring, was still WAAAAAY more interesting than any of the blowouts I’ve ever seen. The Rams had a chance to get their shit together at any point during the game, and in fact it seemed like they would eventually have to put SOMETHING together, even though they didn’t.

User name checks out.

I’m trying to find where he or anyone else is looking for sympathy.

A la North Stars -> Dallas Stars. Fuck Norm.

Makes me feel bad for the fans there.

So, all you laptop owners out there with a 128GB SSD and an SD slot can quadruple your storage for $130.

Beats X have a neckwire, which is why they wouldn’t be mentioned when discussing fully wireless buds/pods.

That’s more just a general issue with anything Bluetooth. The more recent versions of Bluetooth are better about lag.

The Anker and Taotronics buds with the neckwire have several models that are great. I have a pair from both companies and have been really happy with them for what they are. The main problem, to me, is that the battery life is pretty short at around 6 hours - however now they have models that last quite a bit longer.

Well, “expensive” is a relative term. Considering AirPods are $160, and Sennheiser just came out with a $200 pair, $80 doesn’t seem so bad. There are LOTS of knock offs in the $20-$50 range on Amazon though, many of them highly rated.

If only they could add the ability to configure one of the pods to control volume. Seems like it would be possible, yet neither do. One tap for volume up, two for down?

Couldn’t disagree more. Replay ruins the spontaneous joyful reaction to almost every play.
