I seem to be enjoying this show much more than the reviewer. Top-tip - stop making up complicated plot developments in your head, and just watch the damn show.
It’s about pride, not the mask. A woman ordered him to do something.
I think it’s a bit more nuanced than that (or, at least, can be).
I’m pro-choice and anti-capital punishment, but I do at times feel a little confused by my convictions.
Are they that hard? Disclaimer, I’ve only played Bloodborne (and I gave up on Logarius, but mainly because it took so long to get back to him), but it seemed more a case of being careful not to get mobbed, taking the time to learn to parry, and not tackling bosses head-on. And I’m nearly sixty ffs.
Okay, so you listed the positives - why don’t you want one?
Late ‘70s iirc, so bronze?
The original GotG run was pretty weird - didn’t someone end up fucking a planet?
PH was the last place I ate before my appendix exploded (a niece’s birthday). I wasn’t feeling great, so I ordered a salad, and this vast trough of over-dressed iceberg and inedible, faintly frozen chicken arrived.
I went a couple of times with the kids to RFC - terrible food, and the pools of faintly stagnant water gave the whole place a sulphurous undertone.
Nope. Pedophilia is, imho, a genuine illness. Ephebophiliacs and Hebophiliacs are just genuine shits.
Them’s fightin’ words - outside, in the alley around the back, now.
I never listened to the Smiths or Morrissey at the time, and only discovered him, and how good he was, after everyone knew he was a racist douche.
Slander? Don’t be ridiculous. It’s libel.
“lacked poetry” is a bit of an understatement.
I’m nearly 60, and prone to the occasional muddle with all these new-fangled progressive words, so I initially read ‘non-binary’ as ‘cis’ (as in non-binary = not two things; just one thing).
“UPDATE [6/2/2021]: The headline of this piece has been changed to reflect that the Veiled Prophet Ball, and not Ellie Kemper herself, has ties to racism and white supremacy.”
It’s a kind of poetry, not beautiful, but with a certain raw majesty - part Ginsberg, part Sheriff Clarke.
We’re going to need a bigger Venn diagram...
