Does she talk at all about hooking up with Bob Dylan during the Rolling Thunder tour?

  • Jackie no longer shouts “Nice shot!” when V kills enemies while in stealth mode.

I’d find this film a damn sight more enjoyable if both Jack Black and the ridiculous dino-stampede had been left on the cutting-room floor.

This, rather than a Bunuel, was my surrealist father’s favourite film. What he particularly loved was the way Kong’s size changes from scene to scene. In some shots, he has almost plausible dimensions, but in others, he’s a colossus.

Do you have to pay (potentially) for everything in a film? A kid in the background playing, say, a game on a PS4. Do Sony and the game-makers get a licencing fee?

I work in software both now and then, and backups were, ironically, one of the most error-prone activities going. I don’t know if it was the software or the hardware, but it was an effing nightmare. 50% success was acceptable.

I don’t think it’s as simple as that.

I was sort-of worried at first that it would be boring without him, but I’ve since discovered I’m fine with ‘boring’.

I don’t watch many romcoms, but somehow I saw this one. I’d recommend it, but you’ll spend most of the time looking like the audience during “Springtime for Hitler”.

Ah! I’ve been hoping for this one for ages. I just remember being constantly confused watching this - the plot is a horror story, and not only are 90% of the characters complete monsters, but there are so few jokes. Maybe it inspired WandaVision?

I don’t really get it. I mean, are these people outraged that most reasonable adults wouldn’t read, say, Little Black Sambo, to their kids anymore? Or just chuck Huck Finn at them without any context?

Well, it’s clear there are different rules - otherwise, why do they discuss what to do with the snap? Also, Thanos’s resurrection of the Vision doesn’t fit the TT model.

I do not like this film. The Rescuers Down Under, on the other hand...

Time Travel <> The Snap.

I’m not sure you can even describe fascism as an ideology. It’s just a state of perpetual warfare.

Heh. Yeah, for such an obvious and sweet joke, it went sort of crazy. X-Men, FF - hell, Batman for all I know - were all being ‘introduced’ via Fake Pietro or something.

WandaVision/X-Men films = unrelated.

I never got the issue with Fake Pietro - it was clearly a nice joke for the audience. Did we suddenly think Cliff and Norm were going to turn up in The Good Place just because Ted Danson poured a beer?

I thought Coming to America 2 was called Black Panther?

Is the dog in it?
