I’m not sure what you’re saying, and  Hulk-snap vs Tony-snap isn’t the point I was trying to make - just that the time-travel rules don’t apply to altering reality via a snap. “Make reality as it would have been if Thanos had slipped getting out of the shower 6 years ago” was, presumably, an option.

Time travel and the Hulk-snap are not the same thing. The options for HS are much more flexible, but it’s still hard to see an option that would have been more ethical than the choice they made.

I think making a jury potentially liable would be a dangerous step, and judges, afaik, already do have some liability. Other than that, isn’t perjury already a crime? That said, and ianal, I don’t think the perjury charge is directly linked to the severity of the sentence (which it should be).
