As someone who was a bit put off by the previous episode, I was overwhelmingly pleased by this one - just about every scene felt full of portent, from the constant specter of Cruz in the background of Kurt's business with Carrie to Clay's ice cream cone. I loved how jarring Dawson's introduction is, and then she goes

This week my mom decided she was going to sit in on Banshee. That was annoying, because I just want to enjoy Banshee Mooooooommmm!!!

I'd been thinking on this actually, during the siege on the Cadi last season Kurt told a story about how he got into the Brotherhood - he mentions a specific guy, "big and covered in tattoos" named "Tank". Not that the season has stuck to "established" villains (RIP Dalton!), but I wouldn't mind meeting TANK WATTS…

Also quite enjoyed Hood pouring over the evidence, trying hard to rally all those skills gained when he was PRETENDING to be a cop.

Question: Where did Deputy Cruz drop off Hood? If she got to see where he's staying, and she's in Proctor's pocket…

HE IS THE BODY

Good episode, good review. I knew who it was as soon as we saw the shadow under the door but it didn't take away from the excitement at all. Also, it's oddly comforting to have Asher back to his old self.

I just want to say that the records lady who assisted Laurel and Wes gave a stand out performance, and while I can't directly credit her for her placement in the background of the scene where Wes outlines his entire relationship with Annalise, I'm sure it was a result of the showrunners acknowledging her phenomenal

Blake does not "have a girlfriend," he "is a boyfriend." He is "boyfriending".

Can't wait for those chickens to come home to roost!
