The responses by the cast were pretty spectacular.
Mandy Patinkin told him he picked the wrong quote — should have gone with the one about spending all those years in the revenge business.
But Elwes, ah, my man Cary was even MORE spot on.  He invited Ted to come join them for the reading -- if he would ever leave the

Elwes posted this with the hashtag #DumpTrumperdinck.

I didn’t think it was possible to “as you wish” him more.

Rite of passage for the Chicago theatre scene.

It got amazing.  If all you could take out of that storyline was “Mama drama”, you missed some of the best character work in television in YEARS, and virtually all of the additional awesome that is Aimee Garcia.

Back before Football Outsiders sold its soul to the devil (aka The Worldwide Wannabe in Sports, ESPN), they featured regular commentary from a spelling- and syntax-challenged commentator named Raiderjoe, who adored everything Oakland and sounded like he had consumed a case of Sierra Nevada, then picked up a Blueberry

Definitely worth another try.  Chris’ fondness for fennel might lead to the first time an herb is listed as probable cause for alienation of affection, if nothing else.

Also for the wild card...

He dissed the entire ISA and they let him walk.  Dude is good at it.

“They always come up with a story.” Lo and behold, an earthquake in Nebraska. What I want to know is, WHO? Who comes up with the story, and is watching what’s going on in a burg like Blue Valley, that Pat would know about? That frankly sounds more interesting than Eclipso, even.

I’m still unclear on this.  Does this new, good, Earth-2 only think they have history?  It was basically created when Ollie rebooted the universe.  But that shouldn’t have resurrected Sylvester, as none of the Paragons even knew who he was.

I knew I was going to watch Black Lightning as long as it was on during the first season, when the Pierces and Gambi took on the ASA strike team with Earth, Wind, and Fire’s “Shining Star” playing.  The Akils know their drops.

Wait until he finds his horse, Winged Victory.  Just don’t ask him about the time he fought an ogre who turned out to be Morgan LaFey.  They’ve all heard it.

With Shade around to fill the vacuum created by Icicle and Brainwave’s... departures... the nucleus of next season’s villain team is already there.

We get Swamp Thing this fall, as the CW bought it to fill gaps until the new season starts in January.  Here’s hoping it does as well as Stargirl; the way DC Universe handled it was pretty shabby.

Robert Kanigher, who wrote a lot of that stuff, as well as 60's Wonder Woman and Lois Lane comics, was either batshit crazy or an unappreciated genius.  Cut open a vein, and the insanity flowed out.

One version of the Tank (Nu52, I think), had Stuart condemned to haunt it BECAUSE of his support of the Confederacy. His descendant in that version was an African-American officer in Iraq.

Brian Azarello and Cliff Chiang mocked the hell out of it, too, in their Architecture and Morality series.

Terence Blanchard is second only to Rhys in importance to this series.  The man’s a freaking alchemist.

As long as she makes it out of the first episode with her hair, it’s already an improvement on her last show.
