My secret dream is that it will be made into a prestige TV drama series, and not just one book, but the whole shooting-match.

Watch Master & Commander quick, I believe it’s leaving HBO GO at the end of the month. It also is an amazing adaptation of a wonderful series that manages to capture the spirit while not being beholden to what was on the page. It might just be my favorite movie adapted from a book, ever.

My first thought on reading:

I read the book, I thought it was fine; decent, kinda airy sci-fi with some fun action scenes and hold the dang ol phone is that Paul F. Tompkins as the hotel?

So far I’m pretty delighted, is AV Club gonna do regular reviews?

I don’t wanna be that guy, he said, lying, but “coddling of Manny and how it will effect her once he leaves for college,” should be affect probably.  

Very very good, just a perfectly paced, no bullshit genre movie that hits every mark right on the nose.

Fantastic season, I really want to watch this again. Not right away though.
