Driving at 9/10ths on a public road with 0 margin for error, will often end like this.
I think I have enough autocross practice to handle oversteer properly, but I don’t think I could save a car from understeering within 1 second just by intuition. Much easier to analyze could/should after the accident
This car is running low 12s at 120mph, i’d estimate. Definitely too fast to go without a helmet
Also curious:
1. Why did he let the car bounce off the redline for so long in first 2 gears
2. What kind of track allows passengers, and no helmets?
3. Does he live his life a quarter mile at a time, and for those 12 seconds or less, he’s free?

I can’t wait for this video to get re-posted in my facebook feed 12x this week
I wouldn’t let a Turd Ferguson test drive a ‘17 STI either
