As many here surmised, Wonder Woman has become the “Iron Man” of the DCCU. Which is really funny when you remember the the first guest star a new character was given to help bolster their books was almost always Superman.

The only way for this movie to not get made is for it to NOT GET MADE.

Indeed. Neo-Tokyo, and it should be a 12 hour series. The manga has enough material for at least three seasons of madness. The movie was a brief summary compared to the manga.

Ghost in the Shell was garbage, whitewashing or no. Good luck getting Akira to work on any level with the Hollywood formula. Hell, unlike with Ghost in the Shell, in Akira the gory violence plays a central part in the story and exising it will completely alter the mood of the narrative.
