I enjoyed the “Dodgers tanked it to avoid the Cardinals in the postseason” narrative for a while. Then literally every retweet by BFIB was crying about it. It got to the point of absurdity. Not only are the BFIB paranoid, they have no originality in their paranoia.

In seriousness, the idea of him as a top 5 catcher in the modern era is pretty hard to justify. Leaving aside the HOF guys like Bench, Fisk, Piazza and Rodriguez...is he really better than a guy like Russell Martin?
