So, I have been thinking about a full EV for my next car, but now I am thinking that a mild plugin hybrid may make more sense...the EV-only range will just about cover me for my normal commute, but it’s a “real” car for anything longer than that. No need to overbuy battery capacity for the random longer trip.

It’s the simple fact that consumer tablets have cameras, and it’s cheaper to buy existing tablets than to pay extra to have them redesigned and manufactured without cameras.

I wonder why that is. Surely there aren’t as many diesel hybrids as gas hybrids available for people to buy, but there must be a reason why no one really makes them either.
