He had managers on and off over the course but it was in chaos the whole time. But that’s what I’m saying, he was an idiot then, he’s an idiot now.
During his campaign there were COUNTLESS articles about how his campaign was understaffed and imploding and the whole time he was like, “We’re running a smart, lean,

I remain convinced that the person most upset with the 2016 Presidential Election results was...Donald Trump. He just ran to stoke his own ego. Back then he knew he had no business being President. But once he won, he had to do the job. So he convinced himself that he was the bestest everything ever and hasn’t stopped

I would say he wasnt expecting to go that far and rolled with it.

He didnt have an actual campaign manager until deep into the primary IIRC

As someone who lives in his district, I don’t think this will hurt him as much as Trump supporters want people to think it will. This is a guy that routinely explains every single vote he makes, has only missed one vote ever and it was ironically because he was being interviewed about that fact, and has regularly held

Because the idea that Americans are somehow superior is a long running international joke. Consistent with much of the world, 40-60% of our population are drooling morons who can barely dress themselves in the morning. Another 10% are sociopaths. Thus leaving 30-50% who are mentally and emotionally capable of managing

Political beliefs aside, how anyone can listen to Trump whine non stop like a total fucking baby, while simultaneously sounding like a complete idiot of the highest caliber, and walk away thinking “Man, he’s so strong and inspiring” is something that is utterly beyond comprehension.

It seems like a lot of things were introduced the past few seasons that were utterly unimportant to the narrative. Euron, for example. He could have been completely excised with no effect on the story.

I feel like the show would have been in better hands all along if someone had let GRRM know that most book readers had already narrowed it down to 90% Lyanna and Rhaegar, 10% Ashara and Brandon by 2008. It’s possible that D&D googled it while at dinner with him.

I’ll say it before and I’ll say it again: Much like Stannis burning Shireen, Dany burninating Kings Landing makes thematic sense since one of the series’ major themes is that questing for the Iron Throne, no matter your reasons for doing so, is inherently corruptible and the only way to win The Game of Thrones is not

Even if the court retained it’s old split some of the arguments against it are the sort of arguments that occasionally unite the Supreme Court.

From Day One he’s ignored the emoluments clause, and nobody did anything.

I’d say no (unpopular here, I know!) only because it’s funny how changes that seem good right now will come back to haunt you in the future. Reid kills the filibuster, McConnell weaponizes it.

How do you claim executive privilege for a document made BEFORE you were president??

Duh. This isn’t really news. It’s just an obvious reading of an extremely simple and clear statute plus applying historical norms from a recently as a few years ago.

I read the referenced article, and while it makes sense and is likely accurate, my take on this is slightly different.

“Queen Cersei, you are attracted to men with ships, and dragon-killing ballistas, and I have BOTH, and you know it! LEAVE HER ALONE! Hi, I’m Jaime, I’m hear to save my sister! Hi honey! NOT SO FAST! I STAB YOU, AND THE IMP TOO! OH NO! AAAH! UUHHH! NOW, you are MINE! No! No! Yes! Yes! No! Yes! Ohhh, Euron, your ship is

Last week I literally laughed out loud when Jaime finally made it to the rocks below the Red Keep and Euron suddenly just popped out of the water, as if the show knew it needed to give Jaime a final obstacle before he could meet up with Cersei and just shrugged and went “uh, Euron will do I guess.” Did the characters

They could have paced the episodes more effectively, even with only six. Did we really need two whole episodes sitting around Winterfell before the Night King attacked? Couldn’t have tied that thread up in the premiere?

Bronn as Master of Coin was ridiculous. Tyrion would elevate an illiterate sellsword who threatened his life? It felt like something out of an SNL skit.

It wasn’t the best, it wasn’t the worst. It was a decent ending to a show that stopped being great a few seasons ago and that’s probably more than I expected at this point.
