Having grown up in the sweet village of La Jolla, I think many of those 1900 examples must have been delivered there;  they were as common as Porsches. And I loved the look, the solidity and the freight-train macho-ness of it all. But a cheap repaint to an off-brand color? Not up to the car’s standards for sure. CP

Late to the game, but if you want a tiny house, buy an Airstream.

Can’t forget the 911 GT3 @9,000. Especially can’t forget the sound!

And with the au gratin please don’t pick on the actuaries :) My son is one, like an automotive engineer he is essentially an applied mathematician. He learned to drive in a MiniCooper S, stick of course. Loves to drive, as long as it’s not an automatic. Though Brooklyn has shorn him of a car right now, he still loves

Owner of the local trattoria has a TI. He keeps a code reader onboard to clear codes (generally spurious) as needed. And he loves the car.

I’ll just leave this here. The original.

Yes. Toureg, Cayenne and Q7 are siblings, same basic platform, at least with the first generation, and I think the second as well.

Could be so good, but its one of those “just off” cars. Paint - just off. Lowered and look at that camber- just off. Conversion - just off. Seat to interior match - just off. Selling it as a daily, but then seller is willing to trade for “something newer to daily would also be nice” - way off. CP

I surprised a Porsche wouldn’t qualify...Porsche —> Alfa, that would be a conquest IMHO.

OT I know but best headshot eva. He’s leveraged like twelve strands of hair to cover 50% of his scalp.

My body shop does something similar:

Brilliant move by Perry (for a change). It just takes a bit of a bribe tax incentive to scare off 1000 Toyota employees from other states and replace them with Texans!

Japanese records were often destroyed as Allied forces advanced. The war crimes thing, I guess.

OK, I just got back from cars.com and I certainly choose , “Crack Pipe: Why wouldn’t I just buy a later M5?” but why are the much newer M5s so cheap? Serious question, seriously. Just one of many examples:

No, I’m not alright with it, at least this one. XGF had one, total POS. I’m talking about both of ‘em, actually.
