Most heavy icebreaker use these days is in the Antarctic, and our one left is in terrible shape.

I dunno why, all I know is that when I was working my way through college rebuilding VW engines in my group house driveway there were a slew of them available for cores. If you had a rod hole through the case I always started with an industrial case from the local VW junkyard.

Back in the day a lot of industrial VW engines had those governors. After the captains of industry realized that the idea of an industrial VW engine was insane, the engines ended up being fodder for rebuilds and were installed into actual vehicles.

If they do find an acceptable fix and dump all these cars on the market, even if they pace it out over a year, there are going to be some exceptional vehicles available for exceptional prices. Bring it on!

Thats not only a nice price, it will leave some cash in your pocket so you can buy some proper wheels for this puppy:

What would he say to shut her down like that? Does this look familiar to victims of abuse?

..or since I’ve never seen a Shuttle, a Fit HRV? (I had one of those early wagovans and still regret selling it 20 odd years ago.)

It’s going to be the new White House uniform, to go with the military parades. Like when Tricky Dick made over the White House...

A good time for me to start watching the market. I daily drive a well optioned base 986 and I kept on wanting to move on to the 996 Turbo when the depreciation flatlined, but every time I sat in one I felt like I was still in my Boxster. The 997 Turbo still has the Metzger engine, and all those improvements the

OMG, what happened to that already sad VW Beetle convertible beside the Z? It looks like a golden slipper designed for sipping champagne in a certain NYC penthouse.

Unfortunately, what the US government might see as corruption is one cultural norm, many African cultures see it differently. I’m not talking about shifting public funds into private accounts in Swiss banks, thats corruption. But distributing funds throughout a community by the leader is an old, old custom predating

But it needs a new motor! Says so right in the ad...and it will still be unreliable.

My buddy bought one as a second car for his family, they planned to leave it home while they went to the beach for vacation, 140 miles one way. Then life interfered and he had a business thing to attend to at the last minute. I offered by DD, an ancient Boxster in a trade for week. He had a great time, his three

A MIT Study estimates that the VW emissions cheat is going to cause 60 deaths, even if everything is recalled or fixed. Thats worse than Takata.
