I hope Europe will get one based on the European/Japanese console, not that US monstrosity.

Also, the list of games is pretty cool, but it would have been nice to see a couple more third party games. I find this a little too Nintendo-centric for my tastes.

In some games (like Fast RMX), the JoyCons vibrate so much it feels like the’re breaking... I’m not even sure my JoyCons vibrate how they’re supposed to... so I’m not sure I’d want to use that function...

“We don’t believe in putting out a new fill-in-the-blank every year.”

That mini dock for the Switch looks awesome. Saves buying another official dock which is bloody expensive.

Agreed. Nostalgia can be a nasty thing sometimes...

Yes ;)

I went to Japan for the first time to meet my girlfriend who worked in Okinawa at the time. I landed in Tokyo one day before her, and she had booked a hotel for me. She thought the hotel was in Shinagawa, so it’d be easy for me to get to it from Haneda, but it turned out it was in Gotanda. It wasn’t a big deal, as

Pretty much the first place in Japan I explored, after Haneda airport and Shinagawa station. There’s some pretty good food around there :)

That’s true.

I’ll also add something that I came here to say: in the podcast, Sony gets deserved shit for showing a lot of games early last year, that they could have shown this year instead. However, this isn’t true just for Sony.

If you play at home, yeah, that would work rather well, actually.

Alternative solution:

1) Setup a chat with whatever you like (Skype, weChat, Facetime, Whatsapp, Facebook messenger, Roger Wilco, your PS4 or your Xbox One, etc.).

Controller customization isn’t available in Europe: if you try to go to the URL from Ireland, where I am, you land on the main Xbox page, so you can’t see anything., Microsoft never said the service would be US only, not have they said anything about when the service would be available in the rest of the world, so

I mostly played with the Pro Controller: I felt like I was a lot more in control for moving, dashing and jumping. However, I thought the motion controls felt a little better when it came to controlling the punches.

It’s true (then again, some very Japanese game like FFXV or Tekken do come out on Xbox One), but I still think that the way things are going, this generation the two main complementary consoles will likely be PS4 and Switch, as the Xbox One continues fading into oblivion...

FFXV came out on Xbox One. Tekken is coming out too...

“PS4, Nintendo Switch, and Steam”

Something’s missing here... why do I have the feeling this is the beginning of a trend?

I had a lot of fun with the Beta too. When you look forward to the next hour of playtime, that’s a good sign.

I think Ethan underestimates something: in the Beta, each character had only 3 types of punches available. Judging by the menu, there’ll be a lot more available, and you’ll be able to choose what to equip on

This might be good news... let Nomura take care of KH3, and leave FFVII alone!

I can see myself spending a lot more time on this than Mario Kart...

Let me guess: you’re from the US, right? You probably assume that everything, everywhere, works the same as in your country, yes?
