Yes. It’s also not the price of Game Pass.
Yes. It’s also not the price of Game Pass.
Exactly what I thought.
It’s clearly not as nice an offer as Xbox Game Pass, that’s for sure. And for someone like me, it’s absolutely useless: I had a PS3 and a PS4. I own nearly all these games and played them.
The goal is clearly to tempt some Xbox users away. Those who didn’t have a PS4 and who are going to be able…
God that presentation is long and boring... so far, we’ve seen the new headset, a billion promises about glasses and AR features that don’t exist yet, avatars and accessories for the quest... but not a single new game...
Sony and Oculus today. Nintendo tomorrow.
Is there some kind of particular alignment of planets that means everybody needs to do their announcements at the same time?
There’s a bit of that... and on that subject, the crossplay option needs some improvement: at the moment, you can go to the options and disable crossplay, but:
I do believe that the aim assist for controller is a bit too good, and actually gives players with controllers a slightly unfair advantage.
Response time, framerate, visual detail, ability to use ultrawide (like I do)... even if you play with a controller, there are plenty of advantages to playing the game on PC.
The aim assist for the controller does a good job of erasing the advantage that players with keyboard and mouse would otherwise have... perhaps too good a job... I sometimes feel like players who use controllers get a slightly unfair advantage.
See, it’s funny because playing FFVII Remake, I was absolutely certain Jessie was voiced by Cherami Leigh, the voice of Makoto in Persona 5 (and also Kudelia Aina Bernstein in Gundam). But I’n shocked to see here it’s not her.
Seems their voices can sound extremely similar. I say “can”, because they don’t always do in…
Exactly.
I feel you...
I find it crazy that in those trailers, not a single new game is shown! You’d think that in 2020, companies who want to get in the gaming business would understand that specs and hardware are nothing without new exciting games people want to play... apparently not.
Never mind retail... think of developers. For a long time, making a game on console had the advantage over PC that games ran on the same hardware for every player out there : when Naughty Dog made Uncharted 2, they made it using all the power they could get out of a PS3. They didn’t have to take into account people…
Does the Xbox really have moer FPSs than the PS5, though?
I mean it has Halo, but PlayStation has Killzone...
I was wondering that too... it seems to be both the original price and the sales price lines spiking up, so I doubt it’s a case of just suddenly no discounts being applied to anything for a while.
It seems to be a good thing in the end because the general trend of prices is lower after this.
They did the same thing in one of the levels of Halo Combat Evolved: floating guns. Like said before, it’s often easier than writing specific code for a couple of instances in the game.
Funny you should say that, because I am actually subscribed to the PC only Game Pass subscription you call “mythical”.
You know that the subscription to Game Pass is either for console, or for PC, but not both, right?
A feeling? You do realize that someone buying a digital only console will only buy from Sony for the entire generation, and maybe to Sony that’s more valuable than $50 upfront?
Alternate option: you buy a PS5 and don’t buy an Xbox that’s useless.
