Yup. I’ve also always found it very confusing because if someone famous “comes out” by dating their own gender, it comes off as “this celeb is actually gay!” Yet when someone is bi in real life, it’s “not gay enough” for some people.

As a bi, there’s always a certain twinge of pain when a review basically boils down to “I hate this character if they aren’t a gold star lesbian like I wanted.”

If you don’t want to watch a video for this info, check out the Wikipedia page “2022 in Video Games”. It’s got a list of everything coming out.

Why isn’t there just a list like there used to be?  I dont wanna watch a video to find out what releases. 😩

In the first few games, your character was in a weakened state by default; lower max hp, possibly lower attributes, there was some variation from game to game. Whenever you did something to reach full strength, (beating bosses, using limited items, or whatever) you became vulnerable to invasions. This was an awful

So, just to verify:

I made a comment about FromSoftware’s toxic ass community.
You read that comment and, instead of self-reflecting that maybe you’re one of the shitty people in that community, decide to reply and validate exactly what I just said?

Okay. Yeah. Thanks for helping to prove my point.

The Bloodbourne community was (is?) notorious for this. Any criticism, legitimate or not, was met with vitriolic spam and moronic shrieks attacking player skill. The way Elden Ring is being discussed right now, I get the feeling we’re going to see a rehash of that situation again.

The fun part is most invaders hating on that katana will also explain to you why their dual blood build or other broken status low level scarlet rot build they use to two shot you when you just try to clear limgrave is part of the game. And you're an ass to hate pvp™

Invaded at RL1 by the Church of Elleh and managed to intercept a Moonveil being dropped for a new player!

Scarier still is the fact that Carian Retaliation seems to be bugged during online play. While players can see opponents use the skill and the daggers it creates, the subsequent attack is invisible, making it very hard to avoid even if you know what to expect.

This kind of thing is why I took a year and a half break from Overwatch. Nothing like getting yelled at for not “playing right” when you’re getting kills and pushing the payload. It stopped being fun, which is 100% of the reason I play games. Now I just play quick play and stay away from comp.

I was kicked and reported by a couple of RPers in Halatali because I was holding the boss on the not electrified ground so I didn’t have to keep dying on in it.

“Metas” and the like are honestly a stain on online gaming for me. There shouldn’t be a “correct” way to play a game that has multiple ways to play it, and it’s mostly comes down to snobby players trying to enforce it.

I dunno, FF14 Carbuncle(s) are quite kawaii.

As demonized as they are, furries are decent people for the most part.

Nah, Final Fantasy XIV Shadow Bringers has one of the best endings in this series.

yo this is funny as shit

God, can we all stop fucking pretending that this is even remotely about the “70/30 status quo”? It’s about on-boarding new customers by making it literally impossible to find games they want on any storefront other than Epic’s. That’s all there is to it. This stuff about Epic having high-minded motives about giving

The grappling hook and stealth-kill system is wonderful in action and even though there are bosses that can one-shot you there’s always a way to overcome them.
