I think this very thing is the reason I’m starting to just tire of Bethesda games. I get that they’re good at making the exact game that they have made here, but ffs branch out. For a company that claims to be ambitious and pushing the envelope they sure do seem to like making the same game with a new skin and maybe a

Cross-platform play in BG3 is going to be a game-changer for my group, as my wife and I prefer playing on console due to the ability to play on the couch. Our friends who play are on PC, so we’re having to hop between PS5 and PC to play in the various games we play in.

Will be super nice to play with friends regardless

Gonna be playing BG3 this weekend with my wife continuing our campaign we started on PC on our PS5s.  No other game can compete at the moment.

There’s a few really weird things I’ve encountered with transitioning from my PC to my PS5 (since I want to play on the couch beside my wife and we both have PS5s) but for the most part it’s been really smooth.

I’m still profoundly disappointed that I can’t play it on my PS5 as that’s my console of choice these days, but I’m sure I’ll eventually pick it up on my PC once I’ve beaten Baldur’s Gate 3 and Armored Core 6.

If it’s anything like every other Bethesda game it will be totally fine once they’ve released some patches for it that fix the more glaring bugs.

This is absolutely my take on most games these days. I’m generally fine with it in Baldur’s Gate because I know I can pick at that off and on for a few months and constantly have story or side content to encounter and engage with but with Bethesda games they don’t (usually) feel as packed full of stuff that isn’t just

Honestly I expected there to be some mild takes about it considering it’s a massive, ambitious open exploration game by Bethesda. If it didn’t get at least some lukewarm opinions of it I’d be suspicious of reviews being bought. I’m sure it’s going to be just fine for the folks who really, REALLY like Bethesda’s flavor

I had more fun in that trilogy of games than I ever did in any other DW game. The coop was really fun too, just blasting the whole area as a duo of Gundams.

I genuinely wish we'd get another Gundam Musou. Imo the absolute best IP for the genre and an absolute shame we haven't had another one.

Say that all you want, but every single Bethesda game I’ve played at launch has been a buggy mess.  Haven’t been proven wrong yet.

It’s actually the opposite with Bethesda games.  Could come out a buggy mess but people will still praise it as the best game of the year and then the community will fix it 6 months later.  Bethesda gets away with shit that most developers would go under for.

Maybe?  I don’t even know at this point outside of just calling it greedy.

This is a big L for Sony, imo. They need to up the value of the games they provide over Plus if they’re raising the prices this much.

Still probably going to wait until it comes to PS+ eventually. Nice discount, but not enough of one for me based on my experience with the demo.

I’ve got AC6 and BG3, so I’m good on games for a while... and maybe I can pick up Starfield once the community fixes it and releases QOL patches for it like every other Bethesda game. I might have been more inclined to get it at launch if it was on PS5 but since it’s not I’m content waiting a while.

I’m not sure how you played Monster Hunter, but as a longtime series veteran I spend 90+% of my time in those games fighting the monsters. You can easily play Monster Hunter and do well without descending into cringe tryhard builds.

Armored Core, however... tweaking is basically the name of the game.

I’m a dumbass and meant Dark Souls 2.  Had Demon’s Souls on the brain because I played it on my PS5 recently.

I love all the Souls games, but I can see a lot of things I really wish were improved in them. I would call them solid 9 or 9.5 games but I couldn’t ever give any of them a 10. I think the level of flaws and quirks in each FromSoft game is pretty consistent across the majority of their games (with the exception of

It’s basically From Software’s M.O. to make games like that.
