I’m a convert and a preacher for Muji. It’s like UNIQLO for home and office goods. They have excellent socks and their pens are to die for. I keep extra pens in my backpack just so I don’t have to lend my multicolored Muji pen to anyone.

I agree. Engineers were consulted at some point, but I’m sure accountants and marketing execs were wholly responsible.

Not anymore. The current 6 series coupe is dead, to be replaced by the 8 series. The 6 series grand coupe is still extant, but its days are counted. The next gen 6 series will be what we now call the 5 series GT.

How is this better than any Body on frame Luxury SUV, like an Escalade or a Navigator? People can also get those pimp’d out with as much bad taste as their discerning taste requires, and they don’t look like an outdated ram truck...

it’s a bit unfair to compare a manual to an automatic. Before this decade most automatics had fewer gears than manuals.

omg i love this feature. I almost always drive with the lights on, and my car lets me leave them switched on, automatically turning them off when I shut the whole car down, and lighting them up again when i come back.

I don’t think I made my point very clear, and i probably addressed it to the wrong comment. I was referring to VW specifically, and how their cheat device allowed their cars to produce way more particulates and NOx and whatnot, which had remarkable effects on health. Thanks for your comment. I can’t pretend I’m super

What about their particulate emissions or NOx? Those “dirty” emissions are the real killers, health wise. They don’t really contribute to global warming but they have been shown to have caused thousands of premature deaths in European cities.

Sure, Americans like their SUVs. It’s just CAFE loopholes favor “trucks” over “cars”, allowing them to have higher emissions. Generally, CAFE standards favor larger and relatively lighter cars, which has encouraged model bloat and SUVification.

never underestimate the power of public relations, specifically, FCA public relations.

Lol

The 5 door WRX isn’t available anywhere. The 5 door WRX does not exist. You might say the Levorg is just that thing, but it only comes with CVTs, therefore invalidating it’s WRXness.

I don’t know but you’re probably right

I always held what I assumed was the conventional wisdom on restaurant music volume: The music is way up so you can’t hear the other patrons’ conversations. I never really loved that explanation, as one of my favorite aspects of restaurant dining is eavesdropping on other tables and making sly comments with my

“Yeah, it’s invisible, we brought one here, it’s parked right outside in the lawn. Next to the rose garden... where Michelle’s orchard used to be... You can’t see it? Oh! it’s because its invisible hahaha”

Fondant going out of fashion is one of my personal glories. I hate the stuff

We don’t know if he’d like it more that way tho

People who want land barges no longer buy sedans, they buy SUVs. That’s what the Escalade is there for. If you want a comfortable, non-sporty luxury car there’s any number of SUVs you can buy, like a Merc GLS, a lexus RX or NX...

Also weird considering the fact that this engine is being made at Bowling Green, where the Corvette is also made.
