I would like to remind everyone that the AVC gave the book an A.

Oh, goody. My hate-book.
Saw Dunkirk. I'm still working my way through what I thought of it as a piece of cinema. The only thing that I'm convinced of at the moment is that Kenneth Branagh, good as he was, was miscast and seemed like he came from a different film. I'm on the fence regarding Tom Hardy, but he was certainly a better fit.
Well, damn. Now I'm really excited. That was great.
My daughter's habit, which infuriates me more than it should, is 'like', which is somehow an adjective. She can fit three into a simple sentence.
Amateur.
Why would you want to throw acid using an unbreakable jar? Wouldn't that rather defeat the point?
That's number one on my list of songs you don't want to start playing just after you've picked up a hitchhiker.
I'll match your smirk with a wry chuckle.
I'm confused. Is this a list that the DJ refuses to play, or a list that the bride and groom ask him not to play, even if someone requests it?
I'll give you JJ, but LC? Really?
So, basically, the Inhumanity crossover event?
I know it's become something of a cliche where criticism of Bay is concerned, but I really value coherence in a film (or at least in those films where coherence is of value), and I just never understood what was happening moment-to-moment in Transformers.
Well, it was, but, y'know, genetically enhanced. Faster, stronger, comprehensible ending.
Tell me more.
Peter Davidson's come out against a female Doctor. In fairness, he's not screaming and stamping, and is essentially supportive. Also, his point is, afaict, that boys need peaceful, intellectual role models; girls don't.
Upvote for brevity.
Well, afaik, the whole thing of there suddenly turning out to be Inhumans among us was a retcon specifically created to allow them to have a surrogate for the X-Men in AoS. As a consequence (or, more accurately, as intended), the whole royal bloodline thing was either lost or downplayed.
Atilan looks kind of uncomfortable. Apparently the only places to sit down are a throne and the stairs.
Indeed. I always imagined it rather like Elektra's transformations in the Miller/Sienkiewicz series. Mystical, but requiring incredible empathy and focus to drive it.
