Can you even jump?

The idea of an open world Pokemon game is intriguing, what they showed looked bad. Just a lifeless giant world with Pokemon aimlessly meandering in it. It looks like something a fan would have made in their free time, not an official first party $60 Pokemon game.

They’re a business and businesses are about making money. GTA Online makes lots of money and has a relatively small upkeep/dev cost. GTA Online has made more money than the Dragon Age franchise ever will.

I made a khajiit character once and a player kept following me around and making comments about how my character had black fur. -_-

Um, no. They’re not going to be punished in any way. Hardcore raid guilds thrive on and wallow in toxicity. They’re not going to be kicked from the guilds. They’re not going to lose their jobs. They’re not going to be deplatformed. They have no reason to apologize.

I still like it. I’ll take it over hyper-military-hardon aesthetic like Call of Duty.

I’m specifically talking about the whole, collect contaminated items that need to be brought to a specific spot so they can be purified and kept, and other players can kill you to steal them before you purify them.

Their pvp sounds like the Dark Zone from The Division. A hostile area, where you collect items and then take them to a specific spot in order to claim the items. It’s weird how they just completely lifted the idea lol.

Eh, I’m watching a Diablo Q&A right now where they’re speaking with designers on the 3 upcoming games and it’s pretty fun.

I was skeptical of the jump to 3D as well but seeing it in action I’m kinda impressed. It really doesn’t look anything like D3. The new graphics are almost like “this is how my brain remembers the game looking.”

If it had cross play then players wouldn’t have a reason to buy the game on multiple platforms. For a game that will presumably not have microtransactions, they’re gonna do what they can to incentivize people to buy multiple copies to boost unit sales.

I assumed the character in the header image crouched down on the right was male but can’t say for sure.
