Oh my god this looks incredible. I never thought of it before but Hitman in VR is so obvious. A highly replayable immersive sim-esque full AAA series, not even just one game. If this were coming to PC I’d be strongly considering getting a VR setup, luckily I’ve got a PSVR already.
Spending less time and money on AAA games. I’ve got dozens of $10-20 indie games on my wishlists and i keep buying and playing AAA games that ultimately don’t do a whole lot for me.
I actually booted this up the other day for the first time in months. I played a few things that made me go “hah” and a few other things that just felt unfinished and broken and then i stopped. For a player the curation is pretty poor.
Yeah i also went full netrunner and this was my experience.
Eh not really, I maxed out Int and put some points into Cool but all of my perks went into Int and finished the game no problem around level 34. Being able to hack through walls breaks the game. You can kill anyone near you and they can’t do anything about it. A lot of the time they will just stand there in an alert…
I too was surprised when i reached the point of no return. I spent a lot of time doing side missions cause I suspected it was an important story moment coming up and i wanted to get some stuff cleaned up before i did it but i thought it was going to be a turning point of sorts and not the end. For a game that is…
I wonder how much crafting you have to do to reach the max crafting level though, and if you could potentially hit the bug before reaching it. I’ve barely done any crafting cause it’s not really important.
This is one of those bugs that scares you from playing at all cause it will happen eventually but you can never be sure when. Glad they got it taken care of relatively quickly, though it seems like they were already aware of it. Maybe they just hope it would be rare enough that no one would notice.
This is ones of those game i played as a kid and thought was cool only to grow up and learn everyone else hates it. Played this game a LOT with my brother. Tried to basically 100% it across all characters and endings. I think Kou was my favorite cause he specialized in kicking iirc? Hitmonlee was my favorite Pokemon…
I had the thought the other day of “what if Larian made a Cyberpunk universe game” and I wish I hadn’t cause it makes me sad knowing it’s never gonna happen.
I’m about 70 hours in, I’ve seen credits (multiple times, I replayed the ending to see a few different ones), I’ve done every yellow icon on the map aside from the vehicles, many NCPD scanner things which are the worst offenders in terms of generics filler, I’ve exhausted my side jobs (ie the narrative side quests) so…
Maybe ask game devs how they feel about it. They sure seem happy when they win them. Some people even cry. Seems like a good enough reason for them to exist.
The inventory and loot feels entirely lifted from Witcher 3, I agree.
Video game characters don’t have bendable necks like we do. They’re a camera that is fixed to a point in space. Looking down in real life involves bending your neck. Looking down in first person games just means the perspective rotates on an axis. It’s like having a single eyeball stuck on a stick where your head…
Ugh i can’t believe i didn’t screenshot it but i had an instance where my character’s head was gone while riding a motorcycle. I got on and off a couple times and it kept happening.
“a yearlong process” to decide what to call this fantasy group of people.
Lol you reminded me of a conversation i had with a friend back when it was delayed to December. I said “I’m half expecting it to have lots of problems at launch. If they’ve delayed this many times and this close to release.”
No Sly Cooper? :(
The game got shelved for years though so they could finish Witcher 3. The trailer they put out back then is so different artistically and tonally to anything in the current game. I’m gonna give them the benefit of the doubt and say the game didn’t enter any real production until after Witcher shipped.
