I didn’t consider it like that. Adding 2 characters at a time makes more sense when you can’t have doubles. Less people trying to play the same character.

I think gear level drops are tied to character level as well. Once I got Kamala above lvl 20 I started getting loot drops that were 10-15 lvls higher than what I was getting. I’ve stopped upgrading gear cause I’m replacing it so quickly that it feels like I’m wasting resources.

As someone who’s put about 20 hours in, i’m having a good time. Gonna play more tonight.

I think the Apex devs have spoken publicly about costs of cosmetics. Basically it doesn’t matter how much they cost, $5 or $20, the vast majority of players never buy them. So if a player is gonna spend money they might as well charge those players more. The players that do break the seal and spend money tend to spend…

If by “equipment and loot” you mean cosmetics like skins and nameplates? I don’t think you need to buy the battle pass to get gear for the characters. That would defeat the point of having free characters.

I buy physical for single player games. That way i can sell or just keep them for a collection on my shelf. The exception being Switch games. Fuck carrying around a bunch of cards for a portable system.

As if that makes any difference. Gotham Knights doesn’t look like a launch 360 game either.
