Man I'd love a new Pikmin but playing with wiimote and nunchuck feels like playing it the way it was always meant to be played. Going back to controls sticks would be tough.
My memory is hazy but i recall playing the demo for it and I think I just didn’t “get it.” Like the combat was confusing or too hard or something. I think I wasn’t a fan of having to draw shapes to change forms or whatever.
I just assumed this was hiding a load of some sort. Like they had to load in and spawn the BTs every time.
Except the engine and models and maps and animations.
I feel much the same way. I’m sure a lot of it has to do with the brutal nature of dice rolls in these games. I played Kotor a lot as a kid and returning to it as an adult you realize like half your attacks are actually missing or being deflected.
I’m curious why games like Pillars, Divinity, Torment, Wasteland, etc. don’t just feature mouse and keyboard support. It's the way the games were designed and both systems support m&kb. My PC is pretty old now and I'd prefer to play these games on my console and tv but not with a controller.
I was the victim of an armed robbery (though they didn’t have a gun) while working at GameStop and yeah it fucks you up a bit. I never want to work a job where I have to work alone again.
Wow I'm behind on the GG news. Didn't even know it had a name yet, much less characters being announced for it.
I've been wanting to play A Plague Take since it came out so this is nice news, though I feel a bit guilty for not actually buying it. Haven't been able to find a physical copy at any of my local stores.
I’m gonna guess that you’re American, like I am. It’s hard to imagine a world different than the one we know today, but it wouldn’t be impossible.
And we’ll keep having the same conversations as long as games are commercial products designed by huge corporations to generate maximum profits.
I’d argue the just servicable gameplay, bland protagonist and slow story hold it back more.
Honestly this is a small gripe. The game is flush with content (almost an overwhelming amount) and it’s fun to play. And this is coming from someone who has been a Destiny downer for years.
On the one hand, it’s now a free-to-play game. If you wanna get the cool skins you gotta spend some money. The season/battle pass comes with a decent looking set of gear at least.
I’ve only got about 40 games in my library on Switch so it’s not unmanageable but I’m bummed there’s no “pin to home” type of function so I can prevent certain games from falling of the main screen.
The latest iteration of the Xbox dashboard is very good actually. It might still be in preview only but I've been using it for about a month I think and it's great.
I’m crossing my fingers that the next Battlefield is set in modern day. I know it was a huge joke at launch but there’s something about Battlefield 4 that I love. Only thing I really dislike about it is the unlock system. Fucking battlepacks man. They were shitty way before Battlefront 2's nonsense.
Like imagine if you bought a new Smash character and you still had to unlock them just like every other character.
Bluhh I already paid for the characters why do I have to do challenges to unlock them...
