I am no fan of Google from an ethical standpoint — I think they have too often overlooked any shred of responsibility for their often fucked up search rankings, which are based on proprietary algorithms, flaunting privacy concerns, and for frequently ranking obviously fake news and splogs over legitimate media outlets…
