The NYS Thruway was initially a toll road specifically to pay off the bond issue that funded the Thruway. When the bond was paid off...guess what the state did? Did they A) eliminate the toll, as the original purpose of the toll was satisfied? Or B) keep the toll, because government operates on the Ferengi rules of…
To start with, it’s important to recognize that Black children are disproportionately represented in the child welfare system. Black parents are also reported at higher rates, they’re more likely to be investigated by child protective services, and their parental rights are terminated at higher rates.
I’m becoming more and more convinced that Bezos has a good number of Democratic legislators in his hip pocket (and I’m not the least bit surprised that the junior Senator from Washington state is one of them).

Who ran that test? Keith Richards?
in 1995, driving a 1984 Saab 900 on I-90 east of Cleveland in a heavy lake effect storm. Car up and dies. After an adventure that incudes walking a mile in a blizzard on an interstate, spend the night trying to diagnose it in the parking lot of a dive motel.
