In this case, given that it’s fast food, the shouting probably involves relaying the order to other employees. In which case I’m cool with employees using whatever language they want so long as they get the order right.

I think Lynch (and others who express this idea) usually mean in the sense that people will be so horrified and motivated to stop what’s going on that they’ll vote, get organized, etc. which will eventually usher in a new era of progressive change.
