Agreed. The return of CSI was predicated on each new season having a long arc about one criminal/crime, and the entire show suffered from it. Well, with CSI Vegas, the cast is not very good IMHO. Same goes for Law and Order Organized Crime, but this time it has a very good cast. I’m hoping it works better for Criminal…

I mean police procedurals and medical dramas are made for self-contained episodes by the very nature of what the protagonists do for a living. I guess a FBI-type show might be a bit different given the types of cases they investigate relative to a local detective, but it still seems like the best way to build an…
