The people who think autoplay video is a good way to force people to watch their ads will burn in everlasting hell. The ones who think disabling the pause or mute buttons while the ad plays is an even better idea need their fingernails pulled out very, very slowly while still alive.

Yeah, there’s a bunch of 60s and 70s live action stuff, like The Gnome Mobile, is missing. For people my age who spent Sunday nights glued to The Wonderful World of Disney those are big omissions. 

I use that too. I use it a lot when I’m vacation and laying on a beach in Hawaii. That doesn’t suck.

Eh, coconut crabs aren’t so bad. Diego Garcia had some of them. Since they were supposedly pretty good eating they put in a rule making them off limits. The regular land crabs, on the other hand, were disgusting things. 

The only one on that list that I’ve seen is the one you don’t know about, Wendy Woo: Homecoming Warrior. I don’t remember any specifics but I think it was a kind of an Asian Buffy the Vampire Slayer (the movie not the series).

I’m with you, David, fix what needs to be fixed to get it on the road and then enjoy it while working on the other stuff when you can. It’s probably more inline with professional restoration to take it totally apart but when you’re working on it as a home project with a minimal budget that would mean the car sitting…

I didn’t think of if until I saw him fight with the boat engine then my thought went immediately to The African Queen. The rapids reminded me of that too, although both the boat and the rapids were smaller in that movie.

I had a minivan when I was single with no kids. I used it as a winter beater/hauler. I know people have to be “unique” and “different” no matter what even if it isn’t “right”. If you really want some 80s radness and you want something that will autocross (via an abundant aftermarket) and you want to be able to wrench on it yourself there is an obvious choice.

In the Navy they always had a sort of Kool-Aid drink with meals that was referred to as “bug juice”. Since their flavors in no way resembled anything anything found in nature they were referred to by color, not flavor.
