Does Australia have a Wildfire protocol?

I live in the PNW but on the dry side of the mountains so we don’t get the rain that the Seattle area does. In the summer we have long sunny days so solar would be a good thing but winter would be a different story. Even leaving out the snow or fog factor, the days are so short that I don’t see how they make sense.

The year I spent stationed on Diego Garcia (a coral atoll in the middle of the Indian Ocean) was fairly miserable but the one thing that was great was the food. Not the stuff in the chow hall, that was inedible and possibly a crime against humanity, but the stuff the Filipino contract workers would cook up after we

Orange juice, whether straight or mixed with booze. It burns.

Is it a coincidence that on the day Megan leaves a giant ad starts popping up that covers the entire screen? Probably, but it’s still is a dumb move that only makes people turn their ad blockers back on.

Us too, but the school was designed with large windows that opened to allow breezes through and it is never even close to as humid here as it is in Dallas. These days schools are designed with working A/C in mind so they aren’t able to be ventilated as easily.

Sure I know who David Morse is. He’s the guy who played that really boring whiny dude on St. Elsewhere.

I was thinking maybe the Australian Women’s Olympic Gymnastics Team but your choice works too.

I suspect that the test passengers will all be 5'4", weigh 100lbs. and they will report that the flight was quite comfortable.

Now playing

It’s the weirdos and the freaks that really make the car world interesting. Around here it’s fairly common to see a boat cruising the streets in the summer. Because who uses a boat in winter?

My answer is the 2000GT but to solve the interior size issue I’ll have to go with the Sean Connery special

Coincidently I will be in the market for a new car in 2020. I’d buy this but...I don’t like the front styling. Yeah, that’s it! I don’t like the styling. It’s not at all because there is no way in hell I could afford it unless they’re doing 30 year loans on cars these days. It’s totally the styling.

Most people would use sunscreen to protect their face instead of oversized goggles, but sure.

Or wine cooler, depending on your era.

This is good but I’m really waiting for them to go back to Enceladus.

What’s with the safety glasses? I mean, I’m all for playing it safe but it doesn’t look like she’s operating a metal lathe.

I’m impressed that you could tell it was a 73 just from that image. I own a ‘71 and wouldn’t be able to tell a ‘71-73 apart without digging deeply. Hell, I’d only be able to quickly identify a ‘70 from those by the seats. My main gripe is they used a base car but then stuck RS bumpers on it. That’s not a look I care

Thank you, and so true.

I’m sure they’ll sell hundreds of them!

Don’t feel bad for GenX, we thought the dreads were awful from the start.
