The Big Red One is tough to watch, but that’s because of its greatness. I’ll have to admit, though, my favorite WWII movie is Battleground. It was a surprisingly realistic war movie for 1949 where the heroes sometimes broke and ran and it has James Whitmore.

Excuse me, but I watched a documentary just the other day that featured Capt. Blondebeard the Space Pirate.

From the gif I thought it was a tailgater and then a brake check, but from the video it’s obvious that the dark car is the cause of the whole thing. That person should not be allowed to drive.

I’m not cool enough to drive a Trans Am.

Personally, I’m undecided.

I thought only the cops got those? Or maybe they’re the only ones that have the two lane wide models?

What I don’t get is her seemingly being surprised by the renewal. Why did she think that cancellation was even likely?

Yes, California finally joined the rest of us in getting rid of the theater of medical marijuana.

Why are you still hiding weed? We have billboards and radio/tv ads around here trying to sell it to you.

A lot of people didn’t. That’s the point.

Especially when they brought back Tim Allen’s show which is a non-stop rightwing screed.

I actually love C3s but those malaise motors were pathetic.

Or you could just buy a ‘75.

I don’t know how this is even a debate. If you don’t have a washer/dryer you have to leave your home to do laundry. That’s unacceptable. With dishes you have to stand by your kitchen sink. Wow, what a hardship.

Hold on one second. Marlin Perkins hosted Wild Kingdom. Jim was the one who went out and wrestled a wild rhino so they could tag it. Marlin sat back at camp, sipped his wine, and provided narration.

I was taught early that applause is welcomed when listening to jazz or other types of music that feature small groups, especially after a solo, but not to interrupt orchestras for the reasons you state. It’s not about being stuffy, it’s about not intruding on the enjoyment of others.

Fancy Kristen only has a 4K TV? That’s positively proletariat!

Red Chair, Fresh Squeezed, Mirror Pond and Inversion are all great. During the summer I send a lot of my money down to Bend.

I think Black Butte Porter is Deschutes’s top seller so it makes sense that it would be more widely found. Which is the cause and which is the effect is up for debate, though.

Deschutes does not make a bad beer. Period.
