That’s just silly. Everyone knows that Roger Murdock was the greatest Laker ever.

Is he wearing a Nudie Suit?

At least in this game Walton sorta-kinda acknowledged that a game was happening unlike when he did a Gonzaga game in Maui.

They definitely had a very good shot. I liked Gonzaga’s chances if it went to OT since UW was in severe foul trouble but I’m glad it didn’t come to that. Speaking as a GU alum, of course.

Everything you say is true, Rui is fantastic, but Gonzaga played their worst game of the year last night. I don’t know if it was UW’s zone or just an off night or a combination of both but Clark, Norvell and Perkins all struggled. That they still managed to win shows how good both Gonzaga and Rui are.

I agree with you when it comes to mass produced cars. I would argue against doing it to rare cars. There were very few DB6 Volantes (something like 150) built and fewer still on the road. I do agree that they should be driven, but in their original configuration. I don’t give a shit about matching numbers but they

There were 559,000 Mustangs built in 1965 alone. I think we can spare a couple.

No. Just no. The sound of a classic car is a lot of its character and soul and this also destroys the driving characteristics that defined the car. There are too few classic Astons around to be doing this. If they want to do it to an MGB or a Mustang then fine, but not an Aston.

The best winter coat I had as a kid was Air Force surplus. It was a kind of gray color with reflective strips on it and coyote fur around the hood. Ugly as crap, but warm.

Science fiction? Not really. What it is, though, is one of the most depressing movies ever made.

I was going to mention the deathbed contrition but screwed it up. It does not speak well of Bush that his attack dog felt it necessary to repent the things done for him.

I haven’t seen the name Lee Atwater pop up enough in all of the pieces about the Bush administration. Bush was able to seem above it all because he had his in-house attack dog do the dirty work.

The Owens Corning Corvettes also had a nice livery

Ha! Yeah, I’m glad that has faded from the cultural memory. I just posted that my favorite is Darryl from The Office. It might be because he spells it the same way I do.

Not a huge number of Darryls in pop culture, but this one is my favorite:

I’d get some ribs but they keep tipping over my car.

Good, now I hope the trend hits on full sized trucks and their absurd grills.

As the not especially proud owner of a ‘71 Camaro with the big spoiler I don’t see the problem. (Not my car)

I didn’t say it was a good thing, just that most of us won’t really think about it after getting used to it. I’d say the same thing about the lack of a memory card slot or replaceable battery.
