It’s a lot easier thinking that everything is done because of some overarching master plan than accepting that life is chaos, isn’t it?

Good point. I’m thinking it had more to do with looks than speed, but I’m still an idiot so what do I know? I did look to see what actual race (NASCAR) headers look like thinking that would be the most comparable being a front engine V8 that are as low as possible. They’re a little less ... involved.

It would be interesting to see a chassis dyno comparison between that setup and a set of good conventional equal length headers. I’m a little skeptical that the complexity is worth it, but I’m an idiot.

Intake manifolds are boring says you? Nay, say I!

I think by that they mean it has a higher tooth count which means less movement is required before it “catches” and lets you turn the bolt which is important in confined spaces.

I’ll have you know that I not only saw Tricia Yearwood wear gloves but I saw her wash her hands as well. Of course she’s not a real cooking show chef so it doesn’t count.

I think they missed out on some Prime corporate synergy by not doing this with Wonder Woman.

Because then you’re reducing Shannann Watts down to her relationship with this weasel. I think I would have gone with something like “Husband who murdered ...”

I’ve seen Galaxies battling it out with little Euro cars at Goodwood. It’s like Gulliver vs the Lilliputians. The tight course doesn’t really suit them but it’s still fantastic.

It sounds like he’s living the best of all possible lives.

I wouldn’t call a Falcon “gigantic”. Bigger than contemporary Euro cars, sure, but not huge since it’s basically a Mustang in a boring suit. A rally Galaxie would be gigantic. And glorious.

For whatever reason my parents decided to raise turkeys one year when I was a kid. They were just the normal domestic white, but the 30lbs one we had for Thanksgiving is still the best turkey that I’ve ever had and we ate those leftovers forever (which is a good thing when you don’t have money).

Ford didn’t use the 302 in the GT40. That was the 289 (and 427).

I don’t know what you’re talking about. Every Christmas after opening the presents my family sits down to watch A Clockwork Orange. Nothing says “Merry Christmas” like rape scenes.

Oh god, there’s Cathy McMorris Rogers behind her. We tried, everybody, but she still got reelected. Amazing. Absolutely 0% of her ads during the election cycle were about her accomplishments or beliefs. The entirety of her campaign was to point at her opponent and call her names.

I’ve never really pictured you wearing a flat brimmed hat or driving a Subaru WRX but I guess that’s on me.

They can paint the dirt and make it look pretty on TV, though. That’s all that really matters.
