You forgot crap. They were crap.

I misread the headline as the Olds Diesel and was wondering how they were going to meet that price point. I’m very disappointed.

Guaranteed.

The real question is, will there be s’mores?

It was all about saving the insurance companies money. They didn’t like paying to fix damage from low speed impacts so they wrapped it up as a safety issue and their paid stooges in government approved it. Insurance companies are the devil.

Nope, the ‘73 Camaro had some additional brackets that are out of view but otherwise it’s identical. The ‘74 had the big federal bumper.

Any reason you picked 1972 when 70-73 Camaros are pretty much identical on the outside? Also, why the unpopular rubber bumper option when the vast majority of [RS] Camaros, looked like this:

Absolutely. I was thinking since it came with a regular 3.8l the turbo version might be more straightforward but a 350 is dirt cheap and the Chevy G-Body had a SBC so it wouldn’t be rocket science and probably easier to get all the parts for and get running well.

Chrysler remains primarily a North American dead brand.

I’m no mechanical genius and I’m just spitballing here, but wouldn’t the turbo 3.8 have been the engine choice for somebody who actually wanted to be able to dial up good power and finish their project?

My sincere condolences. My wife’s grandparents lost everything in the wildfire that swept Los Alamos in 2000. My wife says it pretty much destroyed her grandfather who died in 2007 and her grandmother still tears up when she remembers something that she lost. It doesn’t help that the fire started as a controlled burn.

It does! Especially if your specialty is shore-based high powered (40kW) radio transmitters.

I didn’t realize that the older Barbies had such a serious side-eye look. She looks like she’s not having any of it.

No idea. I was in the Navy for six years but I was never on one of those big gray floaty things.

We did the same thing in the mid-80s when I was in the Navy. A travel size bottle (or two) of JD or rum will fix that theater Coke right up.

Off topic but how can you have a montage of Holmes’s without Basil Rathbone? Jeremy Brett was the best, definitive Holmes but Rathbone was pretty iconic so whoever made that should go back and fix it!
